Gayton J. Thomas, Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He majored in political science and studied Arab politics at the University of Delaware, graduating with a B.A. in 1996. In 1999, Gayton earned a law degree from the University of Baltimore. Since that time, Gayton has practiced law primarily in the legal field.

Abdullah (Abe) Alsawi grew up in Saudi Arabia and has resided in the United States since 2000. Abe studied business managment and information technology at the University of Baltimore. In 2003, Abe entered the shipping business and was soon managing a shipping company. After discovering that he possessed a true talent and love for the shipping business, Abe founded Global Business Link (GBL) in 2006 which continues to prosper. Abe's clients include embassy employees of most of the Gulf states, and as a result, Abe has grown and maintained many important embassy contacts.
